So many clients tell me that they are nervous before their session, or that they feel uncomfortable about being in front of the camera. I always aim to change the way they feel about being photographed. I don't buy into the myth that some people are not "photogenic", and in fact, I believe that anyone can have a great photograph taken. Choosing a photographer that has a good technical working knowledge of their equipment, who understands how to read light, who is creative in their composition, and who can elicit emotion in their clients all go together in creating a wonderful image! Making a client feel comfortable with you taking their pictures is essential in having a successful session, as well!
